Rafters Finder - Beeline

The Rafter Finder is an optional yet highly useful tool designed to assist with the installation of the Beeline Racking System for solar panels on slate roofs. It provides an alternative method for accurately locating rafters, helping to ensure that your solar panel brackets are securely anchored.

During installation, after the first slate is removed, a small gap is created at the top of the two slates beneath it. The installer can insert the Rafter Finder into this gap and rotate it upwards until it makes contact with the rafter. Once the tool hits the rafter, the top part of the tool, which remains outside the roof, will indicate the center of the rafter, aiding in the precise alignment of the solar panel mounting brackets.

While not essential, this tool offers a convenient and accurate alternative for installers looking to streamline the process of rafter location, ensuring a secure and properly aligned installation of the Beeline Racking System.
